If you are thinking about moving out of state, or you must relocate to a new job, there is no better place to live than in Utah. If you want to buy a house, you will want to purchase one in Utah. There's no better place to call home.

In 2006, three Utah cities were named the Best Places to Live in Money Magazine. The three that made the top 100 list were Sandy, Orem, and Layton. Sandy was number 23, Layton number 41, and Orem number 38. All came in under the top fifty. If you are not convinced now that Utah is the best place to buy a residential home, read on.

How the magazine determined the best places to live was a combination of cultural and environmental issues. Education, weather, overall health, leisure, and culture are major factors in determining the quality of life in the city. Also, many environmental factors go into determining the best places to live such as air quality, crime rate, and commute times.

All three of the Utah cities that made the ranks had a high percentage of married couples and a lower median range for the rest of the cities on the magazine list. Provo also made the ranks by being one of the youngest median ages among all the cities that were evaluated.

Sandy (sometimes known as Sandy City) is a local suburb of Salt Lake City. There is a total population of more than 94,000 people in the area. It is the fifth largest city in the state of Utah. It is home to a large entertainment complex called the Jordan Commons, a shopping mall, and the Real Salt Lake Stadium, scheduled to be completed sometime this year.

Orem is located in the north-central part of Utah and is about forty-five miles south of Salt Lake City. It is home to more than 92,000 people and that makes it the sixth largest city in the state. It is home to Utah Valley University, and is known as "Family City, USA."

Layton is a city that is named for Christopher Layton, the Mormon leader. It is home to more than 68,000 people and is part of Davis County.

Any one of these Utah cities would be perfect to live in. Utah is a very family oriented state, so if you have kids, there is no better place to raise them. Having a residential home in Utah is a very good choice. You know that you will be getting the best deal for the value and you will get a priceless quality of life that cannot be beat by any other city of state in the country. There are so many benefits to living in Utah that you cannot just read about it. You should check it out for yourself.
